Alexander joined chambers in April 2019, following successful completion of a criminal law pupillage with a respected London chambers. Alexander believes that his time spent defending in both the Magistrates and Crown Court has not only sharpened his advocacy skills, but also honed his interpersonal skills in advising clients in trying situations. Prior to pupillage, Alexander worked for numerous solicitors’ firms acting as a County Court Advocate covering a vast range of civil matters.
Prior to joining the Bar, Alexander was a Chartered Accountant, having trained with one of the ‘Big 4’ firms in an offshore jurisdiction before moving to work in London for several FTSE 100 companies.

During his time as a County Court Advocate, Alexander was regularly instructed in matters concerning:
- Mortgage disputes;
- Residential and commercial Landlord and Tenant;
- Claims for disrepair;
- Applications for Orders for Sale;
- Summary judgments;
- Set aside default judgments;
- Relief from sanctions;
- Consumer credit claims;
- Personal Insolvency; and
- Personal injury infant settlements.

Hobbies and other interests
Alexander enjoys trying to improve his tennis game, walking along the coast and reading sci-fi novels.
